Christos is the Line Manager of Cyber Governance, Risk and Control (GRC) and Cyber Prevent functions while being part of Vodafone Group's EU markets team. His role is relevant with cyber security compliance activities from an internal consulting, project management, and subject matter expert point of view, advising and coordinating the relevant project teams, including contractors and vendors, towards the implementation of cyber security controls and initiatives. Prior joining Vodafone he held a Senior Cyber Security, Data Privacy & Protection Consultant role at EY. During this period, he was mostly involved with regulatory compliance and risk assessment projects as well as with Information Security and Privacy Management programmes. He has also been involved in cybersecurity and privacy engagements locally and abroad, especially in the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) sector across multiple industries but mostly in the Telecommunication and Financial Services Industry. More specifically regarding the latter, he has been involved in various regulatory compliance engagements in all of the systemic banks of Greece. Finally, he has being part of major national and international Cyber Security and Data Protection transformation projects on the public sector. Christos holds a Bachelor in Science degree (BSc) in Computer Science with a major in Information Systems and Information Security from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) as well as a Master in Science degree (MSc) in Information Systems also from the same university with a major in Information Security. He also holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the same university and more specifically the International MBA degree of AUEB (iMBA). Finally, he holds the following certifications: • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) from ISACA • CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control) from ISACA • PSM I (Professional Scrum Master I) from Scrum.org
